As most people know, sixth ETID member Doug Spangenberg and ourselves have whipped up a handful of DVDs over the last decade that show off a side of the band that no other band has ever been stupid enough to show off. The footage speaks for itself and has made it completely impossible to live down or forget any of our antics caught on film, but luckily, it also helped us connect and party with fans of our music once the amps are turned off. The good news for people who are late to this party train is that there is a brand new recap of these DVDs RIGHT HERE, which is so sweet that it can and should be enjoyed by those who’ve been on said party train for years!  I just thought of calling it a “reCRAP”, and am bummed that I didn’t think of it sooner. Trust me, though, when brand new shit happens this Wednesday, you’re gonna be happy you crammed!

Things have been pretty busy over here at Jordan Buckley World Wide HQ lately so I haven’t been able to properly talk about how wonderful it was to be a part of this years HOVE festival in Norway. We flew about 30 hours there, played an single blistering set, watched ripping bands like Muse, Them Crooked Vultures, A Day To Remember, and Gallows, I went fishing with my man Legs, then flew 30 more hours straight into Warped Tour 2010. Woooooorth iiiit!!!!! Norway is like a different freakin planet where the backstage is a beach and the sun doesn’t ever go down! Thanks again, and hopefully we’ll return soon!

Saturday, July 10th ALTERNATIVE PRESS will be having an art show in LA to celebrate their 25th anniversary, and I am honored to be a part of it. Actually, I won’t be at the party, but THIS PAINTING will. My paintings always get to have all the fun at all the cool parties while I’m out busting my hump to pay the bills. The show runs through the 24th at the Merry Karnowksy Gallery and will open later this year in NYC. More information can be found HERE and HERE.

While you’re soaking up the rays or soaking up the rain on WARPED TOUR this year, make sure you get in the pit for EVERY TIME I DIE… before and/or after picking up some limited edition/warped-tour-only merch that I helped design!

Speaking of guitars, I got one in the mail today. It’s a Les Paul Classic. And I’m keepin it! Traded that Gallery 1988 He-Man painting I did for it. So in honor of the exchange, I finally got around to taking some close ups of the painting for all of those who will not be able to add this to their private collection. Until, of course, it ends up on ebay.

Here’s a quick recap for all the N00BZ… A couple months ago the nice people at ESP gave me a guitar to hand paint a sikk demon on and the nice people at ALTERNATIVE PRESS held a contest to give to away to one lucky person who simply just entered their name and address. Unfortunately, the guitar did not go to someone that really wanted it, but to someone who was more interested in flipping the guitar for a profit on EBAY. Does this upset me? Absolutely not. If you read my old blogs about this contest, I made it clear that I wanted this guitar to go to someone who would truly give this beast the love it deserved. This is great news for all the people who were disappointed that they did not win it, or disappointed because the contest was only for the participants in the continental US. I’m very happy that soon, the guitar that I busted my hump to create will be in the hands of someone that really wants it, whether it’s on display, or being used to write ignorant mosh riffs. Remember kids, art is not for everyone, and it’s not supposed to be. But if this piece is for you, then please bid RIGHT HERE and give this axe a happy home!

If I actually try to describe how thrilled I am right now, my $7 24 hour internet password at the Washington DC airport will expire before I’m actually able process the excitement. That, or my plane might ACTUALLY show up before the sun does. So I’ll just stick with the facts: Jordan Buckley World Wide is open for business. I’ve known for a while now that as humans, we just want super sweet shit on comfy ass clothes (real talk). And much like a Ghostbuster facing 100 flights of stairs, I knew I was called upon to provide mankind with a great service. So I put my proton back on my back, and got to work. It took over a year of intense focus, creation, perseverance, determination, and a bunch of other stuff you’d find in hardcore lyrics, but I am now proud to say that I finally have what you want, and you can get it RIGHT HERE.
