I remember it like it was yesterday… I was a 13 year alternative music freaker, I saw the “Cut Your Hair” video by Pavement on 120 Minutes, and because the internet didn’t exist, I had to go to Record Theater and trade in money for a package of music. And although the cd kinda sucked, and I can’t even remember the layout, the process was exciting. Putting a cd on and thumbing through the booklet was fun. Most kids I meet these days have no idea what that’s even like, which was the original reason that I wanted to handle the visuals for Every Time I Die’s “New Junk Aesthetic”. 30 pages of my illustrations, that were inspired by the lyrics, that were created for 13 of the greatest ETID songs yet. Plus, a DVD documenting the entire thing. Kinda worth the $8.99 if you ask me. So go buy it!!! It’s out today, everywhere!!! We’ll meet back here when you’re done and you can tell me what you think. The illustrations are incredible! I couldn’t agree more about thumbing through the booklet being half the fun of purchasing and listening to a new album; this is why I still prefer to go out and by physical copies instead of resorting to itunes and the like.

Favorite drawing from the album is the over. What I love even more about it is how the picture is used at the end of the “Wanderlust” video
I was very excited to pick up this album, the illustrations are badass,the music is great, and the dvd was hilarious. Jordan your stuff is great and I’m glad you had a hand in creating the music along with the artwork it really enriched the overall experience of the album knowing all of this. You are truly are a man of many talents, keep blowing us away.

$8.99?? I just bought the cd in the uk and it cost £12.99 !!! If it’s half as good as gutter phenomenon gonna love it!!! Now I’ve just got to get home to my cd player to listen to it grrrrr
