Not only are the other men in ETID my best friends, but if it weren’t for being in ETID, I would never have met 99% of the people I get to call my friends, I would never have met my amazing fiance, I never would have visited the places i’ve been able to visit, play the music we write, or share the art I create. For the past 2 or 3 weeks we went to cities we’ve already seen, played venues we’ve already played, and each day was an amazing new memory. Thanks to everyone I met, whether it was again or for the first time. See you all on Warped Tour!

Not often will I get into flashback mode when showing off an illustration, but this time I think it’s warranted. So in terms of LOST we’ll say that my life before tour would be like my life before getting on Oceanic flight 815. Art college and all the jazz. After drawing every day for quite some time, I stopped when I started touring for a living. Basically, I got in the van, and crashed on the island. It would be this drawing of a skull eating worms that would tie my life on the island with my life before I boarded the plane. I made it in 2008 in between the Take Action Tour and a European headliner, so maybe that was like me being a member of the Oceanic 6! If you’re still following this analogy, the non-stop ETID touring schedule should let you know that I have obviously returned to the island. And this drawing is the body of John Locke (why not?). Ok, i’m giving up on this, just buy this skateboard (only for sale on WARPED TOUR), but sooner than that, buy this very limited ETID TOUR POSTER that HERO and I made out of John Locke’s corpse(?)!

Buying a website domain name off of a dude in Asia that speaks zero english is not as fun as it sounds. And I know I tweeted that statement last week, but I thought it needed to be said again. I majored in business and on the first day of class it was taught “if you start a clothing company that is 4 words, try to make it 4 letters instead… you’ll save money on ink!”. Actually I made all of that up; illustration was my major and that little business lesson came straight from my brain. But it makes sense. THEREFOR Jordan Buckley World Wide will commonly be referred to by myself as JBWW. Feel free to do the same. And to celebrate my new possession of www.JBWW.com, I am unveiling a couple more designs (but not all) that will be available for purchase… hmmm, I don’t know… any day now?

Every Time I Die is running out of places to play. We were either just there, or will be this summer, on The Vans Warped Tour. Or both. This tends to happen when you tour nonstop, and when it does, your only option is head out for a couple weeks and visit hotspots like Jermyn Pennsylvania, Columbia Missouri, and Wilmington North Carolina. Do ETID fans exist in these parts? They sure do! And therefor, they deserve their own ETID Tour Poster. Drawn by me, designed and printed by HERO. Only 100 made. Only for sale on this tour with Norma Jean and Cancer Bats. Only the best.

EVERY TIME I DIE TOUR DATES w/ NORMA JEAN and CANCER BATS…

I’ve never met the new singer of Chiodos, but I appreciate the kind words he shared with Alternative Press about me!

Would you like to look at an drawing? How about an couple of drawings? Well pull up a chair because an couple of drawings is exactly what I am here to show you. All of my brilliant TWITTER followers might even know what these are for, but I’m going to hold off on making any official announcements until these guys hit the printers. Did someone say “printers”? What a coincidence, because the JORDAN BUCKLEY WORLD WIDE shirt have just been shipped off to the printers! So it won’t be much longer now, and I appreciate all the interest. You and I will talk aaaaalllll about it next week when I see you on the ETID/Noram Jean/Cancer Bats tour! Be good!

Last month on took on the challenge of creating some art for an upcoming summer road show dubbed THE COOL TOUR. The people who created the tour are long time friends of mine and the bands playing are totally ripping, so I was able to weasel my way into being their supplier of visual needs. Turns out I have no idea what’s cool, so I drew a centaur/werewolf with robot arms blazing a guitar and feeding the naked chick on his back a beer bong while riding a flaming motorcycle out of a sharks mouth. Let’s just say, it wasn’t exactly what they were looking for. A literal approach seemed to do the trick so we came up with some sweet, cold weather creatures raging on a zamboni. It’s not the easiest thing in the world to meet deadlines while on tour, drawing on whatever surface will have me, but i am proud of the outcome and grateful for the opportunity. So go buy your tickets for warped tour, and THEN buy your tickets for THE COOL TOUR ;-)

Congrats to Richard in West Hurricane UTAH for winning that vicious ESP guitar that I covered with a gritting demon! Like I said Rich, you better shred that thing hard… or I’m coming to get you with my custom George Constanza guitar pick, and i’m taking that thing back, plugging it in, and playing the shittiest riff that I can come up with off the top of my head at that very moment, over and over and over again! And I won’t even care if it’s in tune! Guitar Center style!!!! AAHHHHHH!!!!
